PAUL TAUBLIEB, Film Director/Producer and Owner/Operator of ImpactZone.tv

Working through his full-service production company TAUBLIEB Films, Paul Taublieb, a former award-winning journalist, is an Emmy-winning producer/director/writer of award-winning feature documentaries, feature films and high-impact action sports and viral videos.

He recently completed “Unchained: The Untold Story of Freestyle Motocross,” narrated by Josh Brolin, which he produced, directed and wrote, and will be released in 2016 as a Netflix Original Documentary; previous work includes being producer/creative director/co-writer of the Emmy and multiple-award winning ESPN 30 for 30 Film, “Hawaiian: The Legend of Eddie Aikau.”  He was producer of the acclaimed theatrical documentary “FASTEST” about MotoGP racing, and director/writer/producer of “Big Wave Hellmen” mini-series on ABC Network, as well as producer of the “The Vow,” the film starring Channing Tatum and Rachel McAdams, which grossed almost $200 million at the box office, along with producing network dramatic movies for Showtime, NBC and CBS.

Taublieb was also one of the creators of the X Games, and has produced content across all platform for them, from managing the freestyle moto-x competitions for over 15 years to doing in-depth, ABC Network broadcasts of profiles of the top athletes, including the Surfer Poll-winning“The Lost Wave: An African Surf Story,” and has produced events and television content including The World Snowboard Championships, Rob Dyrdek’s Street League Skateboarding and The OP Pro/Surfer Magazine Boat Trip Challenge, among others, for networks including Fox, ESPN, USA and ABC.

He also produces and directs youth culture and viral videos, ranging from Rob Dyrdek’s “Faux Tattoo” video with over 4 million views to “The Right: A Short Film of Oz Wave Slab Fury” with over 5 million views, to the soccer viral video sensation, “Abuelo Memo” with upwards of 60 million views, as well as serving as the creative agency and producer of long-form and short-form content for Monster Energy Group.

Producing with Taublieb is Susan Cooper, who provides strategic guidance with an emphasis on storytelling and production execution for TAUBLIEB Films.  Her work includes serving as Executive Producer of the feature film, “The Vow,” and executive producing feature documentaries “Unchained: The Untold Story of Freestyle Motocross”, “FASTEST” about MotoGP Racing and the Emmy-winning “Hawaiian: The Legend of Eddie Aikau,” which she is leading the effort to turn the documentary into a dramatic feature film.  She is a former Senior Vice President for Saban Entertainment, which she oversaw the production of over 20 television movies as well as a slate of children’s programming.
